== MangaDex shows "403: Temporarily Banned" ==
This is an automated ban, triggered by our servers receiving what they consider an excessive quantity of requests from your IP address. Note this is cumulative over all activity from your IP address, so multiple users on a single shared address (such as a communal living arrangement, a public wi-fi network, or a VPN endpoint) will all contribute to the measured traffic from that address. This ban will reset itself and begin to allow traffic again once 15 minutes have passed with no activity from the address. If possible, we recommend closing all tabs/windows you have open to MangaDex and waiting 15 minutes before returning to the site.

Some actions on the site may generate multiple requests, such as opening a chapter, which sends a set of requests to fetch multiple pages of content in order to provide a smoother reading experience. Opening many chapters simultaneously is a common cause of this ban. Your specific browser/plugins may also automatically trigger refresh requests for multiple MangaDex tabs at once.
