From MangaDex Wiki
Revision as of 13:13, 1 July 2026 by Panzerkampfwagyu (talk | contribs) (Wrote the Group Report Section.)
To report a group, go on their group page and check the lowest button.
Reports Types
Report Reason Description
Duplicate Entry This is to be used if there is a second Group that references the same organization.

Preferably, you report the Group that either has no uploads or the one that is newer. Put the other group into the report and show your proof.

Group claim request Groups start unclaimed, but in that case, you should use the Claim Group Button instead of this.

If you have a legitimate reason to take over and the Group Leader:

  • quit
  • has not logged in for a long time
  • was erroneously appointedThis then will allow you to change the group ownership to yourself.
Inactivity request Groups can enact restrictions on who can upload for them.

If a group hasn't uploaded for 6 months, but still has chapters available, it counts as Inactive. An Inactivity request can then be made, which will change the upload restriction to anyone can upload. The Mangadex Team will try to contact the Group first and that it will be only granted if there was no answer.

Information to correct If you notice an error in the Groups data, Misspellings in Title or Description, wrong languages in the "Group Focused Languages" and/or broken/dead links in the socials. Provide the applicable part and, if possible, the correct version.
Other This function is for reasons that don't fit into the other categories. It is important to cite here what the problem is(Rulebreaking/Error)
Troll Entry If a group serves no purpose other than to cause offence, contains contains words or images that contain:
  • Slurs
  • Derogatory terms
  • Explicit content

or expressively promotes goods, services or websites, i.E. a group made by an adbot account, it is to be reported with this entry.

Depending on how obvious the offending material is, also provide a short explanation.
