Uploading chapters correctly ensures readers can seamlessly track their progress. Please adhere to the following guidelines when filling out chapter metadata.
Numbering
- Standard Chapters: Use standard integers (e.g. 1, 2, 15).
- Fractional Chapters: For omakes, side stories, or split chapters, use decimals (e.g. 1.5, 12.1, 12.2).
- Oneshots: Leave the chapter number field blank unless the author explicitly numbered it. Ensure the "Mark as Oneshot" checkbox at the top of the form is selected.
Volume Association
Always assign a chapter to its corresponding volume if the volume has been officially published. If the series is currently being serialised in a magazine and has not yet been compiled into a volume, leave the Volume field empty.
As an exception, for series that rely on Seasons (common practice in Korean manhwa and Chinese manhua), set the season number in the volume number.
Chapter Titles
Do not write "Chapter X" in the title field. The system automatically displays the chapter number. Only use the title field if the chapter has a specific, unique name (e.g. "New Home, New Hope", "Monster Child").
Languages
Ensure the selected language reflects the language of the text inside the images, not the original language of the entry.
